God of All Comfort, we lift up Pastor Simon and his missing wife and daughter in northeastern Nigeria. You know their fears and the ransom demanded for Mercy and Talita. Deliver them from the hands of those who do violence, and make a way through what seems impassable right now. Guard their hearts with Your peace that surpasses understanding, even in this storm. Rescue them, Lord, and bring restoration to this family. Reveal Jesus to their captors as You once turned Saul from a persecutor into a vessel of grace. Let Your Gospel move freely among both the captive and captor. Strengthen believers across Nigeria to be steadfast, immovable in faith. For Your glory, accomplish all things by Your mighty power that works within us. Amen.
