Pray with the global church

God of Justice, we lift up the young girls of Pakistan caught in cycles of abduction and forced conversions. Protect them, Lord, as a shield for the innocent and an advocate against injustice. Let Your light expose every hidden act of violence and bring it into the open. Move among those in authority to write laws that protect rather than harm. Reveal Jesus to abductors and converters, that they might see Him as the centurion did at the cross and confess Him truly. Embolden believers in Pakistan to speak truth and love into these dark corners. For the sake of Your name and Your justice, act swiftly. We trust in You, who hears the cries of the oppressed. Amen.
