Pray with the global church

Faithful Shepherd, we give thanks for the safe return of the two Christian sisters to their family in Lahore, delivered from the grip of human trafficking and forced marriage. You are the One who seeks and saves the lost, who calls each by name and knows their voice. Guard and heal these sisters, surrounding them with Your peace and protection as they recover from their ordeal. Expose and dismantle the networks of exploitation that prey upon the vulnerable in Pakistan. Reveal Jesus to the persecutors and those complicit in such evil, that they might turn from darkness to the light of life. Let Your justice roll down like waters, cleansing the land of injustice. We ask for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done in this place, for the sake of Your great name. Amen.
