Pray with the global church

God of Justice, we come before You for the Christians in eastern Pakistan, where the young watchman was killed. Grief and fear mingle with cries for justice — let Your righteousness shine like the dawn and Your justice as the noonday sun. Guard those who mourn, and comfort the families left without their loved one. Reveal Jesus to the attackers in a mighty way that leads them from darkness to light. Draw near to officials and neighbors alike, opening eyes to see truth and mercy. Establish Your protection over Pakistan's Christian minority, emboldening them with courage that stands firm in adversity. Through Christ, our Rock and Redeemer, may Your name be praised. Amen.
