Pray with the global church

Redeemer, we bring before You the Christians in Islamabad whose burial rites were interrupted by disputes over cemetery land. In their grief, let them know that You are close to the brokenhearted and that nothing in life or death can separate them from Your love. Establish justice and peace over the land, that future burials may proceed without strife. Reveal Jesus as the Resurrection and the Life to those who cause disruption, that they might find hope beyond this world and seek reconciliation with those they oppose. Let Your church in Pakistan be steadfast and unmovable, shining as a light in this troubled place. Guard their testimony, that many may come to faith through their perseverance. We entrust all to Your grace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
