God of All Comfort, we lift up Tofa village in northern Nigeria, where darkness brought violence and loss. Comfort those who mourn the dead, and strengthen the hearts of families waiting for their loved ones to return. You see those held captive — set them free and turn their captors from violence to repentance. Restrain the armed networks operating in this region, and let justice roll down like waters where lawlessness has taken root. Reveal Jesus to every heart that searches for peace amidst turmoil, to every soul caught in fear. Let Your light shine in the darkness of northern Nigeria, overcoming the shadows with hope and redemption. We trust You to act because You are faithful. Amen.
