Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up Fr. John Inalegwu Otache in Benue State, asking that You deliver him from captivity and sustain his faith in this dark hour. Be a shield around him as You were for the apostles, preserving him under Your wing until he is safely returned to his flock. Even in this turmoil, let Your peace that surpasses understanding guard his heart and mind. Illuminate the hearts of those responsible with the light of Christ, that they might turn from darkness to light and find the path of righteousness. Empower the church in Otukpo Diocese to stand firm in prayer and love during this trial, reflecting Your unfailing truth amidst uncertainty. Your kingdom come, Father, and Your will be done in Nigeria. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
