Pray with the global church

God of Justice and Compassion, we bring before You the land of Nigeria, where a trail of blood and terror has left communities in anguish. You see the suffering of the innocent and hear the cries of the afflicted, and You have promised to break the bow and shatter the spear. We ask You to intervene and dismantle the structures of violence and fear that grip this nation. Strengthen the leaders of the Church as they call for peace and justice, and reveal Jesus as the light that overcomes the darkness. Turn the hearts of those who bear weapons of terror, and bring healing to the families who mourn. Let righteousness and peace kiss each other across Nigeria. In the name of Jesus, who reconciles all things to Himself, we pray. Amen.
