Pray with the global church

Holy One, we lift up the imprisoned Christian mother in Maiduguri, Nigeria, and her husband who now lives in hiding after threats. Uphold her with the strength that does not faint and let the light of Christ shine through her imprisonment. Guard her heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding even as she faces this sentence. Turn the eyes of officials and extremists towards You — bring them face to face with truth and save them. Let Your justice roll down like waters across Nigeria, breaking through every barrier to the Gospel. Strengthen believers who stand firm in their faith despite such persecution, and grant courage to speak Your Word boldly. For Your kingdom's sake and in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
