God of Justice and Defender of the Oppressed, we lift before You the situation in Kano State, where a court has shielded a Christian woman from unjust arrest due to her conversion and refusal of a forced marriage. You uphold the cause of the oppressed and give justice to the needy. Establish Your righteousness throughout northern Nigeria, and let truth and mercy prevail over intimidation and fear. Guard this woman and all who face similar threats, surrounding them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Make a way for Your Gospel to reach those who resist it, including the Hisbah authorities, that they might come to know the freedom found in Christ. Let Your light shine in the darkness, revealing Jesus to all in this land. For the sake of Your name and the advance of Your Kingdom, we pray. Amen.
