Pray with the global church

God of refuge and strength, we lift up the church in Enugu State after the attack on St. Joseph Catholic Church and the kidnapping of two of Your children. You are the God who sees every injustice and hears the cries of the oppressed. Protect and deliver those who have been taken, and let Your presence be their constant protection and comfort. Strengthen the believers in Enugu with courage and peace, that they may not fear even when faced with violence. Break the chains of those who plot harm, and reveal Jesus to the kidnappers and all who live in darkness. Through You, Lord, is our salvation and light. We trust in Your justice and mercy, and we ask for Your kingdom to be established in Nigeria, for the glory of Your name. Amen.
