Pray with the global church

God of Truth, we lift the church in Benue State before You as they bear the weight of this latest violence. Lives have been shattered by grief and fear after the attack by Fulani extremists. You know each heart wounded and each life lost. Establish Your peace in these communities, where anger and sorrow threaten to overwhelm. Comfort those who mourn with Your everlasting arms, and strengthen them to persevere. Protect Your children from further harm, and let the light of Christ shine brighter than darkness in Nigeria. Reveal Jesus to those who oppose His name, even the attackers themselves, drawing them into Your redemption plan. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream across Benue State. In the name of Jesus, our hope and our shield. Amen.
