Pray with the global church

Maker of Heaven and Earth, we lift up the new Catholic diocese in Bangladesh, where Your church stands as an advocate for indigenous land rights. As lay Catholics serve these remote tribal communities with legal advocacy and pastoral work, establish justice and bring peace to areas marked by deep social inequalities. Protect those who seek to educate and heal in Your name, and embolden them to speak truth to power. Reveal Jesus as the true source of life and justice to those who oppose these efforts, opening their hearts to transformation. Sustain the church’s mission, so that it shines as a light in dark places. In the name of Jesus, who sets captives free. Amen.
