Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up Myanmar and the believers facing renewed attacks on their communities. Churches stand desecrated, pastors have fallen, and yet Your presence is their strength. Establish a stronghold for those who gather in Your name amid this turmoil. Restrain those wielding power to oppress, and shine the light of Christ into the hearts of military leaders and government officials. Bring peace where there is violence and hope where despair has taken root. Let Your kingdom advance as it did in days gone by, with many being drawn to the warmth of Christ’s love. May those who bear Your name in Myanmar stand steadfast, clothed in grace and truth. You are their refuge, Lord God; keep them under the shadow of Your wings. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen.
