Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we grieve the killing of Pastor Dal Thawn Tuang in Myanmar and the fear spreading among Your people there. You see the distress of these communities as they face violence and uncertainty. Let not their hearts be troubled; comfort them with Your presence and sustain them with Your peace. Raise up new shepherds to care for Your flock, embolden the believers in Myanmar to stand firm, and protect them from further harm. Reveal Jesus to those who sow fear and violence — meet them on their path and turn them toward life. Guard Your Church in Myanmar, that even under persecution it would grow strong in faith, rooted deeply in Your love. We pray this trusting in the name of Jesus, our Good Shepherd. Amen.
