Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up the grieving families in Uganda who mourn the loss of two faithful evangelists. In their sorrow and loss, be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Establish peace in their hearts where bitterness could dwell. Reveal Jesus to those involved in violence, that they might encounter the One who offers mercy even on the road of destruction. Let Your truth take root deeply in that region, turning hearts from revenge to reconciliation. Sustain Your church in Uganda as they testify to Christ's love amid trial. All wisdom and justice belong to You; may Your kingdom come there as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, Amen.
