Pray with the global church

Everlasting God, we bring before You the land of Ethiopia where over 60 Christians have been slain in recent violence. You see every life lost, and their blood cries out from the ground. Strengthen the grieving families and let Your presence be near to them in their sorrow. Bring justice for this ambush, and peace that only You can establish in a land weary with conflict. Reveal Jesus to those who perpetrate such violence, that they might encounter the One who can turn hatred into love. Guard the remaining believers in Oromia and across Ethiopia, that their faith may not falter. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
