God of Comfort and Healing, we lift up the Democratic Republic of Congo as the Ebola outbreak continues to claim lives and spread across vast regions. In the midst of fear and loss, be the refuge and strength for the afflicted communities, sustaining them with Your presence. We ask You to deliver the people from this deadly disease, making Your power known in the land of the living. Reveal Jesus to healthcare workers, families in mourning, and those living in fear, that they might see the hope of glory even in darkness. Grant wisdom to those laboring for containment and new treatments, and let Your peace guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. For the glory of Your name, hear this prayer. Amen.
