Pray with the global church

Holy One, we lift up the Santal Christians in West Bengal who faced violence while gathered to hear Your Word. You are a refuge and strength, always near in times of trouble. Let Your peace settle over every heart bruised by this attack and turn their eyes to You as their fortress. Preserve their courage as they regroup after the disruption, and let them not be shaken by intimidation. May they know that though the world rages, You remain their stronghold. Reveal Jesus to those who sought to harm them and transform enmity into understanding and grace. Advance the Gospel among both attackers and onlookers, and let the light of Christ shine through His church without fear. In Your presence is fullness of joy, even amidst suffering; we trust in Your steadfast love and power through Christ our Lord. Amen.
