Pray with the global church

Redeemer, we lift up the church in Nigeria and the abducted priest who has been held captive for 11 long months. You are the Good Shepherd who never loses sight of Your sheep — hold him in Your hand and deliver him from darkness. Strengthen believers in Zaria with unyielding hope as they await his safe return. Reveal Jesus to those who hold him captive; turn their hearts and break the chains of hostility. Let the Gospel shine brightly, even in this dark place, so that captors and onlookers alike may come to know Christ as Lord. We look to You, our stronghold and deliverer, trusting in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
