Pray with the global church

King of Heaven, we lift up the seminary students in eastern China who face this new semester under pressure to conform to national ideology. Set their hearts on the Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Amid military drills and political instruction, anchor their souls in the truth that our citizenship is in heaven. Let these young men and women see Christ more clearly, standing firm as ambassadors for Him within a culture demanding divided loyalties. Instruct them with Your wisdom where others teach falsehood, and strengthen them with grace upon grace. Move in the hearts of instructors, officials, and fellow students — let them meet Jesus as Lord. Your Kingdom come and Your will be done among them. We ask this trusting in Christ, who alone is King. Amen.
