Lord God, we lift up the people of Burkina Faso where violence has overtaken many lands and fear threatens to quench the light of Your Church. You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Establish Your reign where militants hold power, and let justice roll on like a river across this nation. Empower the believers of Kaya Diocese, make them steadfast in faith and boldness, and let their witness point to the One who brings peace. Turn the hearts of those who persecute to meet Jesus on the road they've chosen, as He met Saul long ago. Keep the message of salvation moving like a fire unquenched among families and communities. In Your presence we trust and through Christ our Savior we pray. Amen.
