God of all comfort, we lift up Dearborn where tensions have escalated during the Arbaeen procession. In the midst of violence, we ask You to guard the hearts of believers and those who oppose them alike. Reveal Your peace in the streets of Dearborn, and let the light of Christ shine brightly amidst hostility and fear. Sustain the Christian community with courage and love, and dismantle the barriers of misunderstanding between faiths. Open the eyes of those who acted in anger, that they may see Jesus as the true source of reconciliation and peace. You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We trust You to work for the good of all involved, through Jesus our Lord. Amen.
