Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up the suffering church across Nigeria, Congo, Mozambique, and beyond, where blood has been spilled and hearts ache. You see every tear and hear the cries of those who mourn; You do not leave them in their distress. Shield Your people from despair, and let their faith shine like a beacon amidst the darkness. Reveal Jesus to those caught in cycles of violence — let them see a new way that leads to peace. We ask that attackers would be confronted with Your love and truth as Saul was on his journey, transforming enemies into brothers. Raise up leaders from within the ashes of these attacks who will stand firm and lead with integrity. Establish peace and justice in places broken by brutality. May Your comfort reach every heart that grieves, for You alone can turn mourning into dancing. For the glory of Your name we pray. Amen.
