God of All Comfort, we bring before You the grieving hearts of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Oromia. Dozens have been lost in senseless violence; their blood cries out from the ground. You are close to the brokenhearted—come near to those in mourning, and sustain them through this time of deep sorrow. Reveal Jesus as the Light in this darkness. Let His name be known among those who sow division and hatred, and turn enemies into brothers by Your Spirit. Uphold the church in Oromia with strength that cannot be shaken, and let Your peace guard their hearts beyond understanding. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in Ethiopia, for You are the God who brings beauty out of ashes. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
