Pray with the global church

Defender of the Weak, we lift up the Rohingya people as they face the threat of being returned to a place of persecution. You see the affliction of the oppressed and hear the cries of the needy. May Your protection surround them as a shield, and may Your justice roll down like waters over their situation. Disarm the violence that awaits them, and bring healing to the land they are forced to return to. Reveal Jesus to both the captors and the oppressed, that hearts might turn toward peace and reconciliation. Strengthen the Rohingya with hope, and let Your mercy be a refuge for them in this time of distress. We entrust their future to Your sovereign care, believing You alone are their salvation. Amen.
