Pray with the global church

Lord God, we lift up the believers on Java Island who were threatened for their faith. You are a fortress and shield to those who trust in You. Guard them as they continue gathering in Your name, and fill their hearts with peace instead of fear. Deliver them from those who raise weapons against worship, and reveal Jesus to the man who interrupted their service with a machete in hand. Let the truth of Christ penetrate his heart as You did with Saul, transforming an enemy into a brother. Advance Your Gospel across Indonesia that neighbors, officials, and all who hear might come to know the love of Christ. In the steadfast name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
