Pray with the global church

King of Heaven, we bring before You the captives in Katsina and the surrounding regions suffering under violence and fear. Let Your light break into this darkness; deliver those held in captivity and bring freedom to their souls as well as their bodies. You declare that the Spirit of the Lord brings liberty—pour out that freedom over each hostage, breaking every chain. Confound those who plot terror, turning their plans to nothing. Reveal Jesus to them even in their schemes, that they may encounter Your mercy like Paul on the road to Damascus. Guard believers standing firm amid danger, and embolden them to speak with wisdom and love. For the advancement of Your Kingdom and for Your glory, we ask these things through Jesus Christ, our Deliverer. Amen.
