Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up Junaid Hafeez in his long imprisonment and the flicker of hope for his release. You see every tear and hear every cry in the darkness, and Your steadfast love is better than life. Sustain him as he waits; let his spirit be strengthened in Your presence. Grant wisdom to those who will judge his case, and restrain all influences that would thwart justice. Reveal Jesus to Junaid's guards and to the officials deciding his fate, breaking through any barriers with the light of truth. Let this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness and mercy, drawing even those who oppose You to seek Your face. In the name of Jesus Christ, the One who comforts the brokenhearted. Amen.
