Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we lift before You the farmers and families of Ukpata, who now face violence and fear in their daily lives. You alone restore our souls — lead these communities beside still waters, even when their fields have become places of bloodshed. Guard the hearts of grieving families with Your peace that surpasses understanding. We ask You to reveal Jesus to those who carry out acts of violence, breaking the cycle of aggression with Your unyielding love. Strengthen the believers in Enugu to stand firm in faith and become beacons of hope to their neighbors, reflecting the light that dispels all darkness. Pour out mercy where retaliation threatens to take hold, for Your glory and for Your kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
