Pray with the global church

Lord God, we lift up Jordan to You as the land is shaken by this attack on a church, where lives were lost and fear now lingers. You are a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Sustain the families of those who have been killed with Your comfort and peace that passes understanding. Guard the believers in Jordan who gather for worship amidst danger, and let Your Word be their shield. Reveal Jesus to those who carried out such violence, that they might encounter Him like Saul on the road to Damascus. Let the Gospel flourish even in this time of sorrow, and turn the hearts of leaders to justice and mercy. Establish peace not just as an absence of conflict but through transformed lives in Christ. We ask all this in His mighty name. Amen.
