Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up Taybeh and its beleaguered Christian community facing attacks and fear in their own homes. You see the distress and hear the cries of those suffering terror, and Your heart is near to the brokenhearted. Guard the people of Taybeh, letting justice flow like a river, and strengthen them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Reveal Jesus to those who plot harm, meeting them in their strife with the power of Your reconciling love. Draw communities around Taybeh into a vision of peace, replacing hostility with hope. May leaders work for genuine accountability, turning from oppression to uphold the dignity and safety of all people. We entrust this plea to You, confident in Your unending mercy and love through Christ our Lord. Amen.
