Pray with the global church

Lord God of Hosts, we bring before You the communities in Sokoto State, overshadowed by violence and fear. You who see the distress of Your people, stretch out Your hand and deliver those held captive, and bring comfort to the grieving families. Turn the hearts of those who perpetrate violence, and reveal the light of Christ even in the darkest corners. Protect the believers in Sokoto, that they may shine as lights in the midst of turmoil. We ask for Your peace to be established in Nigeria, and for the knowledge of Your glory to fill the land as the waters cover the sea. In the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, Amen.
