Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we come before You for the believers in Iraq, where political turmoil and insecurity press upon a dwindling church. Strengthen their resolve and provide a path for genuine partnership in this land they call home. As darkness covers many regions, be their light and shield. Pour out Your Spirit on leaders and officials that they might govern with wisdom and uphold the rights of all citizens. Make room for peace to flourish where division has taken root. We ask You to reveal Jesus among those who harbor enmity, turning hearts towards Your kingdom. Guard the testimony of Your people there, Lord, for it is Your power at work that sustains them. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
