Spirit of Truth, we lift up the land of Iran where violence and grief have marked the days. You see every life lost, every family shattered, and You do not turn away. Breathe peace across this region, and soften the hearts of leaders bent on violence, that they might learn the way of love and reconciliation. Meet the grieving families with comfort, and protect the innocent caught in the crossfire. Reveal Jesus to those who have yet to know Him, both within the government and among the soldiers, that they might see the One who loved His enemies and forgave those who opposed Him. You alone can turn swords into plowshares and make enemies into brothers. In the name of Jesus, who is our peace, we ask these things. Amen.
