Pray with the global church

Lord God, we lift up Iran where film director Jafar Panahi faces another unjust sentence. His conviction speaks of a deeper struggle for truth and freedom in that land. Reveal Your justice, bringing light to dark places and hope to those trapped in fear. Sustain the believers there who quietly endure and stand firm in their faith amidst oppression. Let them be salt and light, showing the love and truth of Jesus to their neighbors. Intervene in the lives of officials and authorities, revealing Jesus as You met Saul on his road. In Christ’s name, we ask You to bring justice, deliverance, and peace. Amen.
