Pray with the global church

Living God, we lift up Ghazal Marzban in her place of suffering. You see her hunger strike and hear her cries for Your Word, and we ask You to sustain her as she longs for the bread of life. Break through the walls that hold her, that she might know Your presence even there. Strengthen the believers across Iran who are suffering in silence, and guard them with the peace that surpasses understanding. Reveal Jesus to their guards and those who oppose them, for even the fiercest persecutor can be met by Your grace on the road. Let the Good News advance in places where it seems shut out. We ask this for the glory of Your name, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
