God of Justice and Mercy, we lift up Gaza where words have been spoken that threaten violence and destruction. You are the One who upholds the cause of the oppressed and who hears the cries of those in distress. Establish Your peace in Gaza, and let the schemes of those who seek harm be thwarted. Raise up leaders who will seek the welfare of all people, and reveal Jesus as the true Prince of Peace to both the powerful and the powerless in this region. Strengthen the believers in Gaza to be voices of hope and reconciliation, and let Your light shine in every corner of this land. For the sake of Your name and the glory of Your kingdom, we ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
