Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift to You the believers in Iran who endure torture, interrogation, and imprisonment for the name of Christ. You are near to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit. Sustain them with Your presence and let their faith be like a light shining in the darkness. Strengthen Joe and Dawn as they deliver Your Word into Iran, and protect them as they serve. Reveal Jesus to the interrogators and officials who oppose Your name, and turn hearts of stone into hearts of flesh. Let the Gospel take root in this land despite persecution, and may Your Church continue to grow in faith and love. For the sake of Your name and the advancing of Your kingdom, we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
