Pray with the global church

Lord God, we lift up the Christian communities in Southern Kaduna under the threat of violence. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Stretch out Your mighty hand to protect Your children and shield them from harm. Silence those who plot destruction, and bring confusion upon their plans. Strengthen believers as they gather in worship, letting peace and boldness replace fear. Open the hearts of those who plan to harm, that they might encounter Jesus and be transformed. Let Your truth shine brighter in this darkness, that many may come to know You as Savior. We commit Southern Kaduna into Your capable hands, trusting in Your unfailing love. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
