Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we lift up the community of Yelwa as they face an imminent threat from armed militias. Fear grips hearts, and yet You are the one who prepares a table in the presence of enemies. Guard those gathering to mourn and shelter them under Your wings. Break the power of fear and confusion among these attackers. Turn their hearts toward peace and reveal Jesus as the only refuge for both victims and perpetrators. Let those who plan violence encounter the light that disarms hatred. Sustain Your people in Yelwa with a peace that defies understanding, and may hope rise even in this season of threat. In Jesus' name, Amen.
