Pray with the global church

God of Justice, we lift up Tehran and the grieving mother Samira as she seeks truth after her daughter Sevda's death. See the sorrow that fills families crushed by loss, and the courage rising in those who refuse to be silent before oppression. Break the rod of injustice over this land. Reveal Jesus to those who enforce brutality, and meet officials and citizens alike with Your truth. Let the church in Iran stand firm, a refuge for the weary, proclaiming freedom and hope where there has been so much darkness. May Your justice roll down like waters over this nation. For the sake of Your glory and in Christ's name we pray. Amen.
