Pray with the global church

Savior, we lift up Borno where families live in fear and anguish over loved ones taken from them. In the darkness of their distress, be their stronghold and ever-present help. Guard those who have been kidnapped, and deliver them from the hands of their captors. Reveal Jesus to the kidnappers, that they might see Your light even as Saul did on the road to Damascus. Bring peace to homes disrupted, restore broken education paths, and refill depleted resources with Your abundance. For You bring good news to the poor and bind up the brokenhearted. We ask that the name of Jesus would be known and His reign established even in these troubled times. Amen.
