God of All Healing, we lift up the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo amid the devastating Ebola outbreak. You are the One who was wounded for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities; by Your wounds, we are healed. Righteous Lord, let Your healing power flow over this land, silencing the discord and mistrust that complicates the fight against this virus. Reveal Jesus among the afflicted and the fearful, and let His presence be a balm of peace and restoration. Strengthen the hands of those laboring to contain the outbreak, and let the courage of Your people shine brightly in the darkness. In the name of Jesus, who bore our suffering, Amen.
