Pray with the global church

God of Truth, we lift the people of Egypt to You in this time of rising sectarian tension and discord. In Your light we see light — so shine that light upon this darkness, revealing every hidden agenda and hostile intention, that peace may triumph over division. Establish Your truth where lies have taken root, and dismantle the barriers that separate neighbor from neighbor. Reveal Jesus to those whose hearts are bound by prejudice and fear, softening minds and drawing them toward love and reconciliation. Strengthen Your church in Egypt to speak boldly and act justly amidst the turmoil. Guard their witness as they hold out Your Word of life in a land hungry for it. All wisdom, power, and glory belong to You alone. Amen.
