Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we lift up the believers in Shanxi Province, remembering Your promise to search for the lost and bring back the strays. This preacher's release marks just one step in a journey many have traveled under pressure and threat. Sustain him and his congregation as they continue to gather, that Your strength would be made perfect in their weakness. Reveal Jesus to local officials who wield power with hostility, and let His light break into hearts hardened by opposition. Embolden this church to keep sharing the good news without fear. May they stand rooted in faith as unmovable as a mountain surrounded by God's presence. For the sake of Your name, let Your kingdom advance visibly in northern China. Amen.
