You see the strife as leaders extend their terms and opposition calls for change. Bring Your peace to the streets and reveal Your justice in the halls of power. Restrain those who seek violence and let calm prevail where chaos threatens to rule. Reveal Jesus to officials, soldiers, and the citizens caught in the middle, that they may come to know Your truth and peace. Sustain the church in Mogadishu with courage and hope, and let their witness draw others to Your light. To You belong wisdom, justice, mercy, and everlasting dominion through Jesus Christ our Lord.
