Pray with the global church

Holy and Sovereign God, we bring before You the nation of Haiti, where the Church stands as a beacon of light amidst deepening darkness. You have promised that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Sustain the Church in Haiti as she faces violence and intimidation, and let her witness remain unshaken by fear. Guard the believers in Haiti with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and protect the parishes and schools forced to shut their doors. Reveal Jesus to those involved in the violence — may they come to know the transformative power of His love and grace. Strengthen the leaders, like Bishop Décoste, to shepherd with courage and wisdom, and let hope rise among the communities they serve. To You belong justice, mercy, and glory forever.
