God of All Comfort, we lift up the weary Christians of Gaza and the West Bank, where pressure surrounds them and many long to leave. You are near to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit — breathe Your peace over them in these days. Open doors of hope and bring forth reconciliation where violence has tried to divide. Establish the work of Bishop Shomali's hands, that through his ministry, lives might be touched by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Reveal Jesus to those who oppose Your people, and draw settlers and officials alike toward repentance. Guard these communities with Your mercy until the morning breaks. In Your unfailing love, sustain them, for the glory of Your name. Amen.
