Pray with the global church

Maker of Heaven and Earth, we lift before You the land of Pakistan as Archbishop Gallagher addresses peace and human dignity in his visit. Strengthen the efforts toward religious freedom and dialogue among faiths, that all may seek Your truth and live in peace. Guard the believers in Pakistan with Your steadfast love, protecting them as they walk paths of reconciliation. Reveal Jesus to officials and those in power, opening hearts that have been hardened against Your light. Pour out Your Spirit upon all flesh in this nation, that visions of Your Kingdom might inspire many to turn their hearts to You. All wisdom and guidance belong to You; lead every effort here towards unity and righteousness. In Jesus' name we ask this. Amen.
